At their 2017 Annual Meeting in Boston, the AAG (American Association of Geographers) launched their Advancing Diversity initiative and Emerging Workforce Scholars program, enabling aspirational community college and undergraduate students to interact with geography and geoscience professionals and learn about the preparation required for careers in their field.
